Hotel Review: Reason Why I Don’t Recommend Booking a Hotel in This Caribbean Island

I know that a summer or winter holiday in the Caribbean—especially in Barbados—is a dream come true for a lot of people. Who can blame them? It is, indeed, one of the most beautiful places on earth. The warm climate, the clear blue waters, the pristine beaches, and most of all, the luxurious travel hotels and other illustrious accommodations scattered across the island, are such irresistible factors that the global economic downturn does not seem to be as big of a problem than it really is.
Booking a hotel in Barbados is a much coveted experience. It gives you a sense of fulfillment—a feeling of relevance—particularly because they are reputed to be the known accommodations of choice of some of the wealthiest people known to modern society.
It is so tempting to tighten your belt and allot majority of your vacationing budget to these places. But before you click away on that site, I urge you to contain yourself and practice restraint! Review this one, emphatic reason first why I don’t recommend you to book a stay in these establishments
A hotel in Barbados is expensive. In fact, it’s beyond expensive—it’s ridiculous! Why will you spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars per night to enjoy a nice holiday in Barbados? Are you absolutely sure that you’ll be able to enjoy your stay knowing that you barely have the budget to immerse yourself fully into the Bajan culture? Wouldn’t you want to have comfortable lodgings and enough money leftover to buy that cute souvenir or eat at that popular Caribbean restaurant?
Money is so much harder to come by now that it is important to be more practical and creative when it comes to expenditure. Vacations are still possible, even in exclusive destinations such as the Caribbean. My advice to you is to search for alternatives. If you research on the internet, you will find that you have other options available to you such as apartment hotels, bed and breakfasts and so on. The key is to look well into their offers and find a mix of comfort, convenience and luxury that’s perfect for your vacationing needs.
